Re roofs, or roofing replacements, are what describes the process of removing your roof's old shingles and installing a completely new roof.
Roof Replacement Process from Start to Finish.
We strive to make our Roof Replacement process as easy and smooth as possible. Many people don't realize how much work and planning go into a full roof replacement, and that's okay. Wyndhill will walk you through every step of the journey and will handle all of the coordination.
1. Accepting the Proposal
After our roof technician has conducted our inspection and provided you with a free proposal, you can choose to accept the proposal and move forward with the job.
Once you've signed the proposal, well request a 50% downpayment of the job so we can move forward with purchasing the needed material and supplies to start the job.
2. Ordering the Materials
Wyndhill will be sure to order all the materials discussed in your proposal within 24 hours of receiving your down payment. All materials are ordered from trusted brands right here in Colorado Springs, and are delivered to your home typically within a few days of being ordered.
3. Reroofing Day!
We can usually schedule your appointment within 1-2 weeks of receiving your downpayment. A reproofing day can start as early as 8 in the morning and last until 5 in the evening, and can last from 2 days to 5 days, depending on how large roofing job is.
4. Completion and Wyndhill Inspection
After the job is complete, someone will meet with you one on one to conduct a Wyndhill inspection. During this time, we'll look for any issues and if needed, schedule them to be addressed.
Once the Wyndhill inspection is complete, you can submit a final payment for the remainder of the job. Your work is always warrantied, so if you discover any other issues within your warranty timeframe, we'll come by and take care of it for you.
5. Pikes Peak Regional Office Final Inspection
After the Wyndhill inspection, our office will request a final inspection through the Pikes Peak Regional Office (for Colorado Springs - if you're in a different county, we'll contact the appropriate permit office) and ask them to visit your home for a final inspection.
For Pikes Peak Regional Office Inspections - a couple of things to be aware of are:
- PPRO is unable to let us or our customers schedule a specific day or time for their inspector to visit their home, due to high volumes of roofing inspections taking place in Colorado Springs. However, when an inspector shows up, they will leave a door tag explaining the results of their visit, and whether your home passed inspection, partially passed inspection, or failed inspection. They will also communicate the results with our office as well, in which we will immediately schedule a time to address any issues they find.
Inspections can also take anywhere from 1-2 months to be completed.
6. Inspection & Warranty Certifications
Once your roof has passed the final inspection, we will email you two forms of documents for your records:
Both of these documents are important to have, so be sure you file them some where safe.
If you are working under an insurance company, they may have their own inspection certification form that they may need us to fill out.
The Importance of understanding the Roofing Repair Process
At Wyndhill Roofing, our mission is to ensure we are on the same page with our customers during the entire reproofing process. We strive to achieve the following attributes with all of our customers:

Take The Next Steps in Having Your Roof Replaced
Scheduling a roofing replacement can feel like a big challenge. Where do you start? Who do you call?
We're here to walk you through the next steps of action!
Start with a Wyndhill Inspection
If you're working through an Insurer, make sure you schedule them to come out and evaluate your roof and provide you with an assessment too. Have a copy of their proposal on hand when our Wyndhill technician arrives to conduct your inspection.
Contact our office and schedule an inspection
Be sure to email or call our office so we can gather some important details before the inspection. Some information we'll request will be the damaged property address, reliable phone number for our technician to reach you at, and as much information as you can related to how the roof was damaged so we can write it on our technicians notes.
Schedule a day and time
While communicating with our office, we will work with you to find the best day and time frame for our Wyndhill Technician to arrive at your home to conduct the inspection. Due to the ever changing dynamics within our schedule, we ask that our technician can have a 2 hour arrival time. They will also give you a call when they are on their way.
We understand that life can be hectic, so if you're unable to be there during the inspection, our Wyndhill technician can still complete the appointment and email you the assessment report and proposal for replacements.
Why is scheduling a Roof inspection so Critical?
If you suspect your roof to have any kind of damage, it's important to schedule a Wyndhill Roof Inspection sooner than later, as putting it off can result into larger issues down the road.
Even if you decide to choose another roofing service for your roof replacement, we are more than happy to conduct a free inspection if it means helping you avoid future issues. Colorado weather can be unpredictable. Every person deserves to have a strong, healthy roof to cover them and their family!
