A Class 4 shingle, is currently the highest class of asphalt shingles, which have been tested using a 2" steel ball dropped from 20 feet, and typically carry a 50 year limited warranty.

The term TPO stands for Thermoplastic Polyolefin, and is a blend of polypropylene and ethylene-propylene rubber. It is the most commonly used, least expensive, rolled roofing system that can be mechanically fastened or fully-adhered.
EPDM, or Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer, is a synthetic rubber that is naturally black and most often is fully-adhered. When properly installed, it is very good at handling weather related factors, however, can begin to shrink or pull apart in higher temperatures
